Last month, we saw TMDK further their stronghold on Melbourne City Wrestling by claiming two of our three championship titles. One of those was the MCW Tag Team Championships, which they promptly defaced, scrawling their initials across both belts.
Not only did this act of sacrilege anger the fans in attendance, but it would seem that it has lit the fire under a number of teams within the company, all keen on trying to bring the belts back home to Melbourne City Wrestling. With that in mind, management has arranged a four way elimination bout for MCW Hostile Takeover on June 11, with the number one contendership for the belts hanging in the balance.
The four teams announced for the match will be Preston & Payne, the rookie tandem of Nick Bury and Mitch Waterman, Man United, and the debuting pAnic. With eight of our brightest prospects all fighting to try and get at TMDK first, have Slex and Marcius Pitt picked a fight with the wrong division? And who do you think will come out the victors in this high stakes elimination match?
