Multiple matches announced for MCW Caged Warfare

MCW Caged Warfare rolls into the MCW Arena in Essendon on Saturday September 10, and with just under two weeks to go, we’ve got several matches to announce for this event!

As you’d be well aware, the main event will see Dowie James, Mr Juicy, JXT and the MCW Heavyweight Champion Elliot Sexton representing Melbourne City Wrestling as they go up against TMDK members Hartley Jackson, Jonah Rock, Marcius Pitt and Slex, in the second ever CAGED WARFARE match. The rules are simple – the ring and ringside area will be surrounded with a cage, and every few minutes, a competitor will enter the fray. Since Slex beat Dowie James at our last event, TMDK will get the man up advantage, which means that Team MCW will be at a disadvantage until all competitors are in play. Once that is the case, then the match can be won by a single elimination, through pinfall or submission. And of course, since its in a cage, there are no holds barred!

But in addition to this thrilling conclusion in the violent and bitter rivalry between Melbourne City Wrestling and The Mighty Don’t Kneel, we’ll also see a stellar undercard, including several matches that we expect will be the end of some of the fiercest rivalries throughout the winter months…

First up, Erika Reid will become the first person on the Melbourne City Wrestling roster to put a stop to the antics from the predator known simply as Hawko. For months, the disgraced commentator has been hitting on many of the women in MCW, whilst at the same time, proclaiming that he has a girlfriend anyway each time that he’s been rejected (which, for the record, has been EVERY time)

At our last event, Reid finally seemingly caved in, telling Hawko that they’d finally have a date at our last event. Though by date, she meant a one on one wrestling match. A proposition that clearly put the fear of God into Hawko, as he was left speechless, cowering in a corner.

After months of antagonising the women of the Melbourne City Wrestling roster, we get the feeling that there’s a whole hell of a lot of payback heading in Hawko’s direction…

Back at New Horizons in May, we witnessed the beginning of a new chapter for MCW rookies Nick Bury and Mitch Waterman. After being eliminated from a four corners tag team match by Man United, the duo struck an unsuspecting Campbell Crawford in the back of the head. Though they claimed to be apologetic for their actions, they repeated their actions by striking Vance Adams from behind in a similar fashion the following month, which ultimately led to their first victory in Melbourne City Wrestling.

Bury and Waterman have seemingly reinvented themselves in the wake of these two attacks. Both avid followers and players of suburban football in their spare time away from professional wrestling, the newly dubbed ‘Brat Pack’ have brought elements of that into Melbourne City Wrestling, bringing a previously unseen bad attitude into the company with them. Meanwhile, Man United are looking for revenge, and although they were victorious in a six man tag team match last month (which also featured Adam Brooks and Mike Burr), Mr Crawford and Mr Adams will now seek to rid Melbourne City Wrestling of The Brat Pack once and for all.

Tickets for this event will be available at the door on the night, and online pre-sales will be closing shortly. Already, this event is set to shape the way of the land within Melbourne City Wrestling for months to come – check back for more match announcements throughout the week!

  2. The following time I check out a blog, I really hope that it doesn’t disappoint me as high as this. I suggest, I understand it was my option to review, yet I actually assumed youd have something interesting to say. All I listen to is a lot of whining concerning something that you can fix if you werent also busy searching for interest.
