With the rivalry between Melbourne City Wrestling and The Mighty Don’t Kneel coming to a violent end inside steel this Saturday night at Caged Warfare, we’re making sure that the rest of the event will be something to behold as well. WIth that in mind, we’ve got three more matches to announce for this massive event!
First up, we will see the rivalry between Kelly Anne and Evie reignited, as the two most dominant female competitors in the country do battle in a return match which has been nearly a year in the making!
At last years Fifth Anniversary Extravaganza, Kelly Anne made her in-ring debut for the company, defeating Evie in one of the most hard hitting bouts of the entire year. Evie would take a sabbatical following that event, returning at Winter Warfare in July, much to the dismay of Kelly Anne.
As it stands, Kelly Anne and Evie are two of the highest ranking wrestlers, male or female, to watch out for on an international scale. Both have been competed several times across the United States in the past year, with Evie currently being one half of the SHIMMER Wrestling Tag Team Champions. With a lot of pride on the line, this is sure to be a battle you won’t want to miss!
Two of MCW’s most well respected in-ring athletes will face off, in a match which has been several months in the making. At Winter Warfare, Adam Brooks would make it very clear that he had no alleigance to Melbourne City Wrestling in the ongoing war with TMDK. His trashing of the company immediately infuriated many in the back, but it was Mike Burr who would be first to confront Brooks, telling him to shut up, or he’d shut him up. Brooks responded with an attack on Burr while his back was turned, kicking him in the head, and going so far as to say he would grow up being a failure in the eyes of his young son.
Mike Burr was out for revenge in a six man tag team match last month at Fight to Survive, but unfortunately for Good Time Trouble, Adam Brooks took the easy way out, feigning an eye injury, and leaving his new found underlings, the Brat Pack, to feel the wrath of Burr and Man United. But now, there’ll be no more running, as these two will do battle this Saturday night!
Finally, we will witness the debut of Australian Olympian, Jake Andrewartha, who signed his contract in ring at last months Fight to Survive. A man who was previously ranked as the top competitor in professional judo in the entire country, Jake will be bringing his style of fighting to a new audience in Melbourne City Wrestling. But will it be enough to win his debut professional wrestling match?
We’re still not done with announcements for this massive event, and we’ll be back with more later in the week. But already, with six matches announced, Caged Warfare is shaping up to be our biggest Essendon event ever! Tickets will be available at the door, and we advise arriving early to avoid disappointment, as we predict this event will sell out.
