MCW Intercommonwealth Championship Match Announcement

With four huge Melbourne City Invitational tournament matches announced for night one of Melbourne City Wrestling’s Sixth Anniversary Extravaganza, which takes place on Friday October 7th at the MCW Arena in Essendon, we’re ready to begin announcing some non tournament matches to supplement this exciting tournament.

We’re proud to announce that Mr Juicy will be in action on night one, as he defends his MCW Intercommonwealth Championship, against another international star, who will be making the journey out for this event – Jack Jameson! A graduate from Lance Storm’s Pro Wrestling Academy (known for also training the likes of Nick Bury, Emanuelle and Kelly Anne), Jameson frequently competes for Anarchy Championship Wrestling in his home state of Texas, having held their Tag Team Championships alongside former WWE Superstar (and MCW alumni) Paul London.

Mr Juicy is a man who has risen through the ranks of Melbourne City Wrestling since making his first appearance in 2012. Whilst he first came to the fore thanks to his entertaining comedy matches, Juicy has seen a career rebirth in the past year, and in August, he defeated Jonah Rock to raise the MCW Intercommonwealth Championship for the first time, a year after losing to Dowie James in the finals to crown the inaugural champion.

With the eyes of the wrestling world focusing on this double header event, both men have something to prove to their contemporaries, and with the MCW Intercommonwealth Championship on the line, that has only seen the stakes rise higher than before. Tickets for night one are available online now, and will also be available at the venue door. With a massive line-up of professional wrestlers from all over the world, this is going to be two nights of MCW action that you won’t soon forget!
