Womens Wrestling Action set for MCW Vendetta

At MCW Final Battle, we witnessed what may be the finest womens wrestling bout in Melbourne City Wrestling history, as Kelly Anne and Evie went to war in the first ever ‘Last Woman Standing’ match. The event can be watched back via MCW Encore, with the bout being hailed as one of the best womens bouts to be found anywhere in independent wrestling for 2016.

We can now reveal that Kelly Anne, who came out on the losing end of that hellacious war, will return to action at MCW Vendetta, our first event for 2017, which takes place on Saturday January 14, at the MCW Arena in Essendon. She will go up against Jessica Troy, who will be making her second appearance inside a Melbourne City Wrestling ring.

Troy is the current co-holder of the PWWA Championship for the Pro Wrestling Alliance in her home state of New South Wales. Since she appeared last in MCW, she has begun to be hailed as one of the ones to watch as far as female wrestlers in Australia go. But will that be enough to score her a victory against Kelly Anne?

Pre-sale tickets for this event are still available online, but they will finish up over the weekend. We will also have tickets available at the venue on the night. With three big matches already announced, and more to come, MCW Vendetta is shaping up to be a raucous start to the new year.
