Two Tag Team Matches set for MCW Collision Course

With two massive championship matches already signed for MCW Collision Course (which can be found here, for those who may have missed it), we’re now able to reveal two tag team bouts which are set to take place at the MCW Arena in Essendon on September 9th.

The first of these two bouts will see Syd Parker and the Psycho Cowboy, collectively known as pAnic, in action against Fun Time Trouble, made up of Fun Time Phil and “Good Time Trouble” Mike Burr.

pAnic made their return at Ballroom Brawl (available here on MCW Encore), and were quick to make their presence felt as they targeted the MCW Tag Team Champions, the Brat Pack. They were unsuccessful in a triple threat match for the championships at MCW New Horizons, and are now looking to get back into title contention.

Fun Time Trouble have a similar goal, having been cheated out of the MCW Tag Team Championships thanks to Avary and a well timed coward punch at Ballroom Brawl. Burr and Phil have rapidly become fan favourites in 2017 at Melbourne City Wrestling, and they too are looking for revenge against the MCW Tag Team Champions.

MATCH-taylorswfbIt has been a rough few months for the former MCW Tag Team Champions, KrackerJak and Lochy Hendricks, better known as the World’s Friendliest Bastards. Try as they might, they haven’t been able to get onto the same page since losing the belts to the Brat Pack a few months ago. During the Ballroom Brawl Rumble, an errant spear from KrackerJak led to Lochy Hendricks’ elimination. Following a tirade from Hendricks backstage, KrackerJak would get the team a shot at the MCW Tag Team Championships at New Horizons, but KrackerJak would once again wipe out Lochy, after he was blinded by Syd Parker.

The situation between the two seems to be at breaking point following New Horizons, as an interview with Sean Kustom about his future plans and impending departure for the United Kingdom was cut short by a ranting Lochy Hendricks, once again venting to his girlfriend Emily backstage. But the World’s Friendliest Bastards are giving it one more go around, as they face Zane and Ritchie, the Fighting Taylor Brothers. The Brothers made a solid first impression at MCW Fight to Survive, in a losing effort to Fun Time Trouble. With a regular spot on the MCW roster being a goal for the Taylors, they will have their work cut out for them when they go up against the World’s Friendliest Bastards.

Tickets for this event are on sale now, and are selling fast. Reserved seating can be purchased online via this link (available until Friday), and tickets can also be purchased at the venue on the night.
