Oct ’17 MCW Encore Update: Includes Collision Course 2017!

We’re proud to announce that in the coming month, we will complete our entire back catalogue of standard Melbourne City Wrestling live events, available on the MCW Encore subscription service, which you can subscribe to by clicking this link.

MCW Encore is available to professional wrestling fans anywhere in the world, and with a catalogue of close to 100 titles, and over one weeks worth of continuous content, it is currently the largest professional wrestling video on demand service in the Asia Pacific region.

Here’s a list of our most recent updates over the past month, which has seen an extra ten hours of content added to our online subscription service:

Our August 19th event saw Melbourne City Wrestling bring professional wrestling to the heart of the city for the first time in almost five years. In the main event, Jonah Rock would defend the MCW Heavyweight Championship against former champion Dowie James, and Will Ospreay made his first defense of the MCW Intercommonwealth Championship, along with the PWA Heavyweight Championship, in a triple threat match with Adam Brooks and Robbie Eagles.

Elsewhere on the card, we saw Mr Juicy team up with Bullet Club member Bad Luck

Fale. New Horizons is included in the MCW Encore subscription service, or you can purchase the title independently here.

Our September MCW Arena event event saw Jonah Rock competing with Mr Juicy for the MCW Heavyweight Championship, and a stacked undercard, including the MCW InterCommonwealth Championship being defended.

MCW Collision Course is included in the MCW Encore subscription service, or you can purchase the title independently here.

Earlier this year, we announced a partnership with Southern Pro Wrestling: New Zealand, which has been making waves as the promotion to watch across the ditch. We’re proud to present their largest event to date, Southern Rumble, which includes the likes of Will Ospreay, TK Cooper, Bea Priestley and Taylor Adams on the card, along with many other names.

This event can only be seen with an MCW Encore subscription pass.

We’ve just transferred the last four of our standard MCW events to MCW Encore, meaning our back catalogue is complete! These events are the two Sixth Anniversary Extravaganza events, featuring Marty Scurll and the debut of the Melbourne City Invitational, MCW Collision Course 2016, which included an incredible triple threat bout between Adam Brooks, Robbie Eagles, and ‘Australian Suicide’ Ryan Rollins, and Final Battle 2016!

Our last event for 2016 is best remembered for two things: Dowie James ending the mammoth MCW Heavyweight Championship reign of Elliot Sexton, and the last woman standing match between Evie (now Dakota Kai in WWE) and Kelly Anne, which was a bout which would be talked about the world over. The event can be purchased individually here, and is available as part of the broader MCW Encore subscription service as well.

All three installments of the Weekend Worriers franchise are now available to rent or download via MCW Encore. This series follows the journeys of Elliot Sexton and Mr Juicy, back in a time when the two were best friends. Viewer discretion is advised.
